Packing List

On the West Coast, we have a saying: “If you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.”

To prepare for the region’s unpredictable weather, we recommend the following:

Packing Essentials

Clothing

  • Pack lightweight layers for warm days and thicker layers for cooler evenings.
  • Consider bringing a fleece vest, short and long-sleeved shirts, pants, shorts, or convertible cargo pants.
  • Weather-proof gloves and a lightweight toque are handy for time on the water and hiking.
  • Outdoor Gear: Comfortable, moisture-wicking, and breathable clothing for hiking, fishing, or exploring.
  • Jacket: Bring a light, rain-resistant jacket for excursions and unexpected showers.
  • Casual Wear: Comfortable attire suitable for lounging or mealtimes indoors and out.
  • Swimwear: Pack a bathing suit for ocean or lake swims, plus quick-dry shorts or tights for kayaking or paddleboarding.

Footwear

  • Sturdy, water-resistant hiking shoes or light boots for excursions.
  • Comfortable sandals or casual shoes for relaxing at the lodge (slippers are provided).
  • Closed-toe, solid-grip water shoes (optional) for marine activities.

Accessories

  • Sun hat or cap, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
  • Backpacks, umbrellas, and water bottles will be provided.

Personal Items

  • We encourage eco-friendly, biodegradable products that help protect local wildlife and ecosystems.​

Toiletries

Locally made, sustainable amenities provided include:

  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion​
  • Sunscreen, insect repellent, and dental kits​
  • Hair kits and Dyson hair dryers​

Medication & Prescriptions

  • Bring all necessary personal medications and prescriptions.​

Camera or Smartphone

  • Don’t forget your camera or phone to capture unforgettable moments and breathtaking scenery.​

Travel Adapter/Charger

  • For international guests: Canadian outlets are Type A/B.​
  • Charging ports and cords are available in every room, with international adapters upon request.​

Books, Magazines, or E-Reader

  • Our four-season room features a cozy fireplace, a library, and board games—plus charging outlets and a writing desk for quiet reflections.
  • Starlink Wi-Fi is available in all guest accommodations.
