Packing List

On the West Coast, we have a saying: “If you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.”

To prepare for the region’s unpredictable weather, we recommend the following:

Layered Clothing

  • Pack lightweight layers for warmer days and thicker layers for cooler evenings
  • Consider a fleece vest, short- and long-sleeved shirts, jeans, shorts, or convertible cargo pants
  • Weather-proof gloves and a lightweight toque can be especially handy on the water
  • Outdoor Gear: Comfortable, moisture-wicking, and breathable clothing for activities like hiking, fishing and exploring
  • Rainwear: A lightweight, rain-resistant jacket and pants for unexpected showers or wet outdoor adventures
  • Casual Wear: Comfortable casual attire suitable for meals and cultural events, indoors or outdoors
  • Swimwear: Bring a bathing suit for dips in the ocean or lake, as well as swim shorts or quick-dry pants/tights for paddleboarding or kayaking.

Footwear

  • Sturdy, well-gripping, water-resistant hiking shoes or a light hiking boot for excursions
  • Comfortable sandals or casual shoes for relaxing at the lodge
  • Close-toed, solid-grip water shoes for marine activities

Accessories

  • A sun hat or cap, sunglasses and sunscreen

Personal Items

  • To respect our fragile environment, we encourage eco-friendly products that won’t harm wildlife or ecosystems.

Toiletries

  • While we provide luxury eco-friendly bath amenities, feel free to bring your preferred products

Medication & Prescriptions

  • Ensure you bring all necessary medications, as there are no nearby stores or pharmacies

Camera or Smartphone

  • To capture unforgettable moments and breathtaking scenery

Travel Adapter/Charger

  • For international guests, Canadian outlets are Type A/B. Extra chargers are a good idea to have when starting a trip as many get lost from airports to final destinations!

Books, Magazines, or E-Reader

  • Our Den features a cozy fireplace with library, board games, outlets to charge your laptop, tablet or E-reader and a desk for writing those quiet contemplations
  • Please note that due to the satellite internet system, large file downloads can be very slow. We recommend pre-loading your device with downloads before arrival.
